Dr. James Berry is an Assistant in Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. He is Co-Director of both the MGH Neuromuscular Division and the MGH ALS Unit, and he is an Associate Medical Director of the MGH Neurological Clinical Research Institute.

Dr. Berry received his medical degree and Masters of Public Health from Northwestern University, and completed his neurology and neuromuscular training at Harvard Partners.

Background
Dr. Berry has been an active ALS clinical researcher with a commitment to collaborative research. He’s designed, led, and conducted multicenter studies and trials aimed at identifying new therapeutic targets, discovering novel ALS biomarkers, and testing potential new therapeutics in people.
